UPDATE (9:32 p.m. ET): The deal is done. Miles will be introduced at a press conference on Saturday.

Nebraska’s been aggressive in its search to find a replacement for the fired Doc Sadler, reportedly offering the job at least three coaches. But it seems to have settled on a candidate who also wants the gig.

Colorado State coach Tim Miles was on the Lincoln, Neb., campus Friday to meet with athletic director Tom Osborne. If offered the job, a source told the CBSSports.com that Miles “won’t turn it down.”

The Omaha World-Herald reports that a press conference is being planned for Saturday morning.

Miles led Colorado State to its first NCAA tournament appearance this season since 2003. The Rams finished the season 20-12. In five seasons, he’s 71-88 at the school.

Miles, 45, made $750,000 this season. Nebraska, boasting new facilities and a desire to be competitive in the Big Ten, could conceivably double that salary.
