- Murray State’s Steve Prohm is the primary target of Mississippi State’s coaching search right now. Prohm guided the Racers to a third round birth in the NCAA tournament in just his first season as head coach. The Racers lost just two games all season.

- Both the men';s and women’s basketball coaches at Grambling have been reassigned within the athletic department and have been relieved of their duties

- Southern Illinois has offered former-Illinois coach Bruce Weber the head coaching position. Weber coached at SIU prior to his stint as Illini head coach

- Legendary UNLV head coach Jerry Tarkanian was hospitalized yesterday after he suffered a mild heart attack

- Arizona and Michigan will start a home-and-home series beginning in the 2013-2014 season

- Duke’s Ryan Kelly had surgery on his right foot, which was injured in a practice before the ACC tournament. The forward will be out six to eight weeks

- Tennessee’s Jeronne Maymon had surgery on his right knee yesterday, just hours after his team lost to Middle Tennessee in the N.I.T.
