Among the Big East’s four teams in the Sweet 16 Syracuse is the highest remaining seed. Louisville won the conference tournament. Cincinnati, as a 6 seed, has the least pressure among the bunch to win.
That leaves Marquette. And it so happens that the West’s No. 3 seed is Bobby Gonzalez’s pick to reach the Final Four among those four.
None of them are locks, to be sure. No. 4 Louisville faces 1-seed Michigan State. ‘Cuse has to navigate Wisconsin and then either Ohio State or Cincinnati. And the Eagles? They get hot-shooting Florida.
