Of all the bubble teams playing Saturday, N.C. State may be the one who’s the most relaxed.
How many teams get to earn a crucial quarterfinal win, then play a game against a rival with a starter injured in a game that can only help your at-large profile? (That’s a redundant question, just FYI.)
When the Wolfpack (22-11) face ACC tournament top seed North Carolina, the Heels probably won’t have power forward John Henson, who suffered a sprained wrist (or maybe worse) during their Thursday win against Maryland. That should give NC State a little confidence.
But knowing that their NCAA tournament résumé is in great shape entering the game is even better.
