Odds Oklahoma St.'s Darrell Williams returns this season now remote

Oklahoma States Darrell Williams hasn’t played since being charged with four felony counts related to allegations of inappropriately touching women without their consent.

The chances of him returning to the court this season are now remote.

The prosecutor is seeking a gag order and a change of venue in the case and intends to file a motion on Monday. Williams’ initial court appearance was set for March 7 (he’s out on $5,000 bond), but now the motions hearing is scheduled for April 20, with the trial set for May 7. He faces one count of sexual battery and three counts of rape by instrumentation.

Cowboys coach Travis Ford says Williams won’t be playing until his legal issued are resolved. That covers this season.

Williams, 21, is a senior who was averaging 7.1 points and 7.3 rebounds in his first season in Stillwater. He had transferred from Midland College in Texas.
