Tuesday’s slate and what to watch

It’s a fairly light slate for a second consecutive day, but there a handful of notable games, starting with the rivalry in the state of Michigan where Tom Izzo admits he doesn’t like the Wolverines “one bit.”

Now that’s how you approach a rivalry game.

Boise State at Colorado State, 10 p.m. (the Mtn)
The Mountain West has three elite teams: UNLV, SDSU and New Mexico. But the Rams (12-4) actually boast the league’s best second-best RPI (22)? Perhaps this is a conference destined for four bids to the Big Dance.

Michigan State at Michigan, 7 p.m. (ESPN)
Here’s everything you need to about this game. Remember, the Wolverines swept the season series last year. MSU hasn’t forgotten that.

Maryland at Florida State, 9 p.m. (ESPNU)
How does a team follow up a 33-point victory against a Top 5 team? We’re about to find out. The Seminoles (11-6) must take this chance to work out any kinks and give their egos a check before heading to Duke on Saturday.
