Monday’s slate and what to watch

It’s finals week, so you know what that means – a dearth of games.

There are a whopping 26 college hoops games Monday night, two of which are on TV. But hey, even Fordham-Siena is better than that awful Seahawks-Rams Monday Night Football matchup. Well, not really. But a couple others might be.

(All times ET; TV info courtesy of HDSportsGuide.com)

Portland State at Oregon, 10 p.m. (CSN Northwest)
Fresh off two surprise transfer decisions, the Ducks got transfer Devoe Joseph just in time for Saturday’s game against Fresno State. The result was 18 points in a 74-70 victory, the first of six straight home games for Dana Altman’s team. The Vikings don’t present the same challenge, but it’ll be interesting to note how Joseph progresses with Oregon. Can he turn them into a Pac-12 darkhorse?

VMI at Longwood, 7 p.m. (Try this link)
If the link works, give it a watch. Odds are you’ll see at least 10 points scored in two minutes or less. Neither team prefers to play defense and there should be around 81 possessions in the game. If we’re lucky, this one will go to OT and it’ll top 200 total points.
