Thursday’s slate and what to watch

Mike Miller

This is Harvard’s moment to shine. Not sure that’s a good thing for the Crimson.

After all, if Connecticut loses at home to Harvard (7 p.m. on ESPN2), I can’t imagine Jim Calhoun lets his team come home for about a week. Maybe more. The Huskies haven’t been killing teams yet (including that perplexing loss to UCF) but they’re still more talented, tough to score on and have elite talents at every position.

If Harvard does win this, it may very well go unbeaten.

Bob Huggins, back in Manhattan. The only smiles that’ll occur during this game is when he and Frank Martin share a pregame chat. Also, good matchup.
