The DC Air All-Stars are not a household name. Nor should they be. The sight of inflatable mascots dancing to mid-90s pop music is hardly a sight worth bestowing upon the rest of the world.
Yet, for some reason … I just can’t stop watching this video.
As the tireless Rob Dauster noted this morning on Twitter, George Washington’s Midnight Madness festivities kicked off Friday with that little nugget, featuring mascots named Big George, Hippo, G-Wiz, Air Screech and Air Slapshot.
It’s not charming, it’s not sublime. It merely is. For anyone over the age of 3, that is.
