USA Basketball tapped 17 of the nation’s top players for its men’s U19 World Champions Team training camp, which includes 14 collegians and three graduating high school seniors.

Yet the guy with the most international experience? One of those seniors.

Florida recruit Brad Beal played on the U17 team that won last summer’s U17 World Championship, was part of the 2009 U16 gold medal team and played with the Junior Select Team that won the Nike Hoop Summit on April 9.

And now that he’ll likely be on another team loaded with talented guys, it’ll serve as helpful preparation for next season at Florida when he’ll have to share the ball with Kenny Boynton, Erving Walker and Mike Rosario.

Anyway, here’s the complete list and where they’re playing college ball.

Keith Appling (From Detroit, plays at Michigan State) Melsahn Basabe (Glen Cove, N.Y., plays at Iowa) Brad Beal (St. Louis, Mo.; committed to Florida) James Bell (Orlando, Fla.; plays atVillanova) Anthony Brown (Huntington Beach, Calif.; plays at Stanford) Trevor Cooney (Wilmington, Del; committed to Syracuse) Allen Crabbe (Los Angeles; plays at California) Tim Hardaway Jr. (Miami; plays at Michigan) Joe Jackson (Memphis; plays at Memphis) Jeremy Lamb (Norcross, Ga.; plays at Connecticut) Meyers Leonard (Robinson, Ill; plays at Illinois) Doug McDermott (Ames, Iowa; plays at Creighton) Travis McKie (Richmond, Va.; plays at Wake Forest) Tony Mitchell (Dallas; enrolled at North Texas) Richard Solomon (Los Angeles; plays at California) Josiah Turner (Sacramento; committed to Arizona) Patrick Young (Jacksonville, Fla.; plays at Florida)

They’ll be in Colorado Springs, Colo., from June 17-24 competing for a spot on the final 12-man roster, chosen by a committee that includes North Carolina’s Roy Williams, Washington’s Lorenzo Romar, Illinois’ Bruce Weber, former Duke star Jay Williams and Syracuse’s Jim Boeheim, the chair of the Junior National Team Committee.

New George Mason coach Paul Hewitt will coach the team, along with St. Mary’s Randy Bennett and Cliff Warren of Jacksonville.

“Between the coaching staff and the 17 players that will be participating in the USA U19 training camp, we believe we have assembled another outstanding group who should give us an excellent opportunity to defend our U19 World Championship gold medal,” Boeheim said in a statement.

The team will compete in Latvia from June 30-July 10.
