Video: Heels surprisingly slow when faced with fire alarm

For such an up-tempo team, North Carolina was oddly slow to react to a fire drill on Saturday.

Kidding, of course. The Heels were in the middle of a press conference and were asked to stick around while an alarm sounded. But it made for amusing video.

Credit to UNC coach Roy Williams for cracking wise during the alarm.

Question: “What is so difficult about keeping up with your tempo?”

(Fire alarm buzzes. Announcement in background)

Williams: “It’s hard to keep our tempo going when the guy says the building’s burning down around us, I can tell you that. But we can get outta here faster than most teams we play.”

Guessing the Heels will move a wee bit quicker against Kentucky.
