NEWS: Referees Jim Burr, Tim Higgins and Earl Walton – the guys behind the mess at the end of the St. John’s-Rutgers game Wednesday – all withdrew from working the rest of the Big East tournament.
Commissioner John Marinatto said the three have “voluntarily withdraw” in “the best interests of those involved.”
OPINION: A voluntary withdrawal? Uh huh. Today, I voluntarily opened the door for my boss when I got to work. It was in my best interest.
