There’s a decent game tonight in Durham. Not sure anyone’s gonna watch it, but if you do, here’s a some pre-game reading. Tipoff’s at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Georgetown at Syracuse, 7 p.m. (ESPN): The other marquee rivalry of the night doesn’t have the same juice it did when John Thompson and Jim Boeheim stood on the sidelines glaring at each other while directing Top 10 teams, but that’s about the only thing that’s missing. It’s still a game replete with stars (Austin Freeman and Kris Joseph, to name two), media attention and two teams trying to establish themselves as Final Four contenders. If bad blood’s the only thing missing, maybe that’s not so bad.
Louisville at Notre Dame, 7 p.m. (ESPNU): In case you missed it, this Top 20 showdown features a pair of solid teams who could qualify as two of the season’s biggest surprises. Perhaps that credit should go to two guys who’ve finally managed to step out of their older brothers’ shadows.
Wisconsin at Iowa (8:35 p.m. (BTN): If you believe in “trap games,” here’s a classic example. The Badgers play host to No. 1 Ohio State on Saturday in what could be the Buckeyes’ first loss of the season. But Wisconsin’s gotta beat Iowa first. And don’t look now, but the Hawkeyes have won two straight…
