Monday’s slate and what to watch

Hope you’re pumped for the Big Monday games. There’s not much else.

(All times ET)

Texas at Texas A&M, 9 p.m. (ESPN): The ‘Horns (18-3) have won six straight, including wins at Kansas, Oklahoma State and Saturday vs. Missouri. If there’s a weakness in their game right now, it’s free-throw shooting, but that’s it. They’re cementing themselves as a Final Four contender. Also in that six-game run was an 81-60 win vs. A&M just 11 days ago. I’m certain the Aggies are thinking about it, too. A loss to Nebraska over the weekend goes down as a “trap” game. This is Texas’ biggest obstacle to a perfect Big 12 season.

Louisville at Georgetown, 7 p.m. (ESPN): Psst. Hey, Hoyas. Here’s a hint: Stay in front of Peyton Siva. Oh, wait. You want to know how to do that? Got me. Just making sure you know the Cardinals guard is quicker than anyone you saw Saturday at Villanova. And just as bold.
