Helpful hints for struggling N.C. State

N.C. State’s lost four of its last five without much hope in the immediate future. At North Carolina, home vs. Virginia Tech and at Duke doesn’t instill much optimism for a 12-8 team that’s 2-4 I the ACC.

But Caulton Tudor of the Raleigh News & Observer says three small changes could help Sidney Lowe’s salvage what remains of their year – and maybe even make the NCAA tournament.

  • Get sophomore swingman Scott Wood more looks
  • Shorten the rotation to seven guys
  • Start running to capitalize on the team’s quickness

Might as well give at least two of those a try. At this point, what does the Wolfpack have to lose?
