ESPN goes All-Access at Duke

Just two months ago, Coach K said this on the Dan Patrick Show:
Dan asks Krzyzewski whether he’d let a camera in on practices, like a college hoops Hard Knocks. Coach K says no and feels it would be artificial anyway because the coaches would change their behavior due to the presence of the camera.
Starting this afternoon, the exact opposite will happen as ESPN U will begin airing an All-Access series on Duke basketball, similar to what they ran on the Alabama football team earlier this year. There will be six episodes in total -- four that are 30 minutes long and two that are an hour long:
ESPNU All-Access: Duke Men’s Basketball (Each episode is 30 minutes)
  • 11/1: 4:30 pm
  • 11/2: 4:30 pm
  • 11/3: 7:00 pm
  • 11/4: 7:00 pm

ESPNU All-Access: Training Days with the Duke Blue Devils (Each episode is one hour)

  • 11/9: 9:00 pm
  • 11/11: 8:00 pm (ESPN2)
So if you every wanted to see what a day in the life of Kyle Singler or Nolan Smith is like, to learn what its like for a freshman hoops star to make the transition from high school to college classes, or watch a practice run by Mike Krzyzewski, be sure to tune in to ESPN U this week.

At the very least you can now set your TiVo.
