Oddsmakers also picking Duke to win it all

Pretty much everyone’s picking Duke to win it all in 2012. Even Vegas.

Early odds for the 2010-11 season (courtesy of The Greek) have the Blue Devils as 5-1 favorites, which isn’t a surprise. The smart ones go for the Devils.

But the rest of the odds can be somewhat curious. As the guys at Rush the Court point out, Kansas (20-1), Pitt (20-1) and Ohio State (30-1) would be an excellent investment for anyone so inclined. Louisville (20-1), North Carolina (18-1) and Texas (18-1) are a tad riskier.

Meanwhile, Seton Hall (50-1), UCLA (33-1) and Texas A&M (50-1) all get better odds than Xavier (60-1).

Another mid-major dis.
