Things are looking up in Oregon. Then again, there was nowhere else to go.
After a rough summer in Eugene - players transferring, reports of NCAA rules violations - new coach Dana Altman was left with nine scholarship players for the 2010-11 season. Now scrimmaging will be a little easier.
The Ducks are expected to announce the additions of guard Jay-R Strowbridge and forward Martin Seiferth sometime this week. Strowbridge has played at Nebraska and Jacksonville State. Seiferth’s a transfer from Germany.
Neither player will be a difference maker for the Ducks - expect a long season in Eugene - but at this point, any additional players are a good thing.
