That is one BIG Monday

Don’t make any plans the night of Jan. 17. You’ll have hoops to watch.

ESPN released its Big Monday schedule for the Big East, which features the conference each week from Dec. 27 to Feb. 28. The usual suspects are involved – Georgetown, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Villanova each have three appearances – but the marquee night is Jan. 17, when everything switches to ESPN.

It’s also when the Big 12 Big Monday slate starts.

That means ESPN is showing four games starting at 3:30 p.m. ET, back-to-back-to-back-back. The four: Villanova at UConn (3:30), Kansas State at Missouri (5:30), Syracuse at Pitt (7:30) and Kansas at Baylor (9:30). That’s a slate featuring potentially all Top 25 teams, and possibly four in the Top 10.

Like I said, don’t make plans.
