Expecting side splitting jokes from Bob Huggins’ roast Friday night was probably a bit much. Coaches telling moderately amusing anecdotes makes for a night for smiles, not laughs.
Cue Ron Everhart. Who knew Duquesne’s coach could do pratfalls?

The rest of the roast - a fundraiser for the Norma May Huggins Cancer Research Endowment - probably could’ve used a few of Matt Norlander’s jokes, though I don’t think John Calipari’s needed the help. That guy’s delivery is spot-on.
