Could be a big weekend for Louisville

If things go Rick Pitino’s way the next few days, the state of Kentucky will be flooded with more talent than ever during the 2011-12 season.

Consensus Top 5 prospect Quincy Miller will be on an official visit to Louisville this weekend. The 6-9 forward reportedly is no longer considering Kentucky, which vaults the Cardinals to the top of his list. According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, there’s a good chance Miller will commit to Louisville after his visit. If that happens, expect high-flying guard Deuce Bello (also visiting the ‘Ville this weekend) to do the same. They play on the same AAU team and want to suit up at the same college.

Five-star prospect Wayne Blackshear also will be a Cardinal. Combined with John Calipari’s ridiculous recruiting hauls, the state will have at least six five-star freshmen prospects playing at the two schools, and maybe as many as 10.
