Bobby G on TV? $#*@^#* brilliant!

If it’s not an ill-advised trip to the mall, Bobby Gonzalez’s mouth usually gets him into trouble. So if the ex-Seton Hall coach wants to do some TV analysis, I’m all for it.

It can’t be boring, right? From a N.Y. Times story on what Gonzalez is doing next:

“I’ve got some NBA stuff going on,” said Gonzalez, adding that he had been in touch with several teams about becoming an assistant or a scout. He declined to name the teams.

“Or I might be in TV for a year or two,” Gonzalez said. “Let the smoke clear. I may get back in college someday, but I’ll wait a while.”

Gonzalez has a degree in communications and experience with NBA TV, MSG Network and SNYtv, according to his Seton Hall bio. So maybe he’s onto something.

Or we could just take Diamond Leung’s advice:

“Might we suggest hawking satchels on QVC? Court TV is now coincidentally called truTV and will broadcast NCAA tournament games, so that might be another fitting destination.”

Mike Miller’s also on Twitter @BeyndArcMMiller, usually talkin’ hoops. Click here for more.
