Good luck to Duke’s announcers during the 2011-12 season. The Devils will be trotting out Plumlee after Plumlee.
Marshall Plumlee, a four-star prospect who’s rated as the 40th best prospect in the class of 2011, committed to Duke Saturday night, according to Scout.com. He’ll join older brothers Miles (who’ll be a senior in 2011-12) and Mason (who’ll be a junior) on Mike Krzyzewski’s roster.
The odds of all three being on the court at once are fairly slim given that all three are power forwards/centers and are all 6-10. (Announcers breathe a sigh of relief.) But it’s a fun thing to consider. Hopefully the Duke media relations department is already working on monikers for the trio...
