Michigan’s trip to Washington D.C. for the Big Ten tournament has not gone smoothly.

The Wolverines were scheduled to play Illinois at noon on Thursday in the Verizon Center, but after their plane skidded off the runway on Wednesday, Michigan was unable to get a flight to the nation’s capital until this morning.

Their uniforms, however, didn’t. The jerseys were stuck at the bottom of a plane that was in a ditch next to a runway.

That means Michigan will be wearing practice jerseys at today’s game:

The Wolverines then got stuck in traffic on the drive into D.C., meaning they didn’t actually arrive at the arena until 10:40 a.m.

Fun day!
