Lourawls ‘Tum Tum’ Nairn Jr., Michigan State’s starting point guard, is a native of the Bahamas.
The Spartans are playing in the Battle 4 Atlantis this week out in Nassau, and on the day before the tournament opener, the Spartans paid a visit to a local school, where Tum Tum gave a touching speech to the staff and the students.
He followed that up by posting a career-high 13 points and four assists in a win over St. John’s, which included this dunk that set the Michigan State partisan crowd off:
