Utah gets late commitment from 2016 forward

One of this summer’s biggest stock risers was Class of 2016 6-foot-6 forward Chris Seeley. The bouncy forward helped his grassroots program, Splash City, make a deep run in the Under Armour Association Finals in Atlanta before having another strong week with the team in Las Vegas.

Seeley even put down one of the better dunks of the summer with this poster.

The big dunks and inspired play led to some late high-major scholarship offers for Seeley as he committed to Utah on Thursday. The Utes were one of a handful of high-major program who were trying to get Seeley aboard late and got the job done.

Seeley joins a Utah Class of 2016 recruiting haul that includes guard Devon Daniels, redshirt freshman big man Jayce Johnson and big man Jakub Jokl. The forward from Fresno certainly seems like a solid late pickup as he looked really good over the summer.
