Matchups set for Legends Classic, 2K Classic

NEW YORK (AP) Notre Dame, coming off an Elite 8 season, will play Colorado and Texas will meet Northwestern in the semifinals of the 10th annual Legends Classic at Barclays Center.

The semifinals will be Nov. 21, with the championship and consolation games the next night.

In addition to the games played in Brooklyn, the four semifinalists will host two games each on campus beginning Nov. 12.

Eastern Washington will host Bryant, Louisiana Monroe and Seattle in a subregional round on Nov. 21-22.

Pittsburgh will face SMU and new coach Tim Jankovich, and Michigan meets Marquette in the semifinals of the 22nd annual 2K Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project, which returns to Madison Square Garden this year.

The semifinals are Nov. 17 with the championship game the next night. The tournament moves back to Madison Square Garden after being held at Barclays Center.

Jankovich took over the Mustangs this week following the resignation of Hall of Fame coach Larry Brown.

In addition to their games in New York, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Marquette and SMU will host two games on campus, beginning Nov. 11.

UPUI will host Eastern Michigan, Gardner-Webb and Howard in the subregional round Nov. 18-19, in Indianapolis.
