Michigan State will be without Denzel Valentine next season and it will be a weird after Valentine grew into one of the faces of the program for the past few seasons.

During his senior season in particular, Valentine was a triple-double threat every single night as he had an unbelievable campaign for the Spartans.

Now, Valentine is hoping to hear his name called in the first round of the NBA Draft this week and he took some time to reflect on his college career in a piece penned on the The Player’s Tribune. Many of these entries can be dry, but Valentine begins with a funny anecdote about his freshman year and continues to talk about his journey through four years of college basketball.

If you’re a college hoops fan, it’s a nice insight into the camaraderie of being apart of a tight-knit program and locker room. You can read all of Valentine’s post here.
