Wisconsin forward Nigel Hayes is returning for his senior season, and over the first three years of his college career, he’s provided a number of memorable moments on and off the floor.

Hayes has helped lead Wisconsin to two Final Four appearances and another trip to the Sweet 16 last season while he’s also become famous for his amusing quips that include battles with NCAA stenographers and a public mic drop aimed at Ohio State.

Entering his senior season, Hayes is hoping to have a wish fulfilled as he’s taking to Twitter to try to get Wisconsin to schedule a road game in his native Toledo. In the tweet, Hayes said that if he gets 50,000 retweets that Wisconsin assistant coach Lamont Paris will grant his wish and schedule the game at Toledo.

At the time this story was published, Hayes is close to 5,800 retweets, so he has a long way to reach 50,000. It’s hard to say if he’ll reach his goal on this, but it would be nice to see if Wisconsin would give Hayes the road game he is asking for.
