Diamond Stone has been suspended for one game as the result of a contact dead ball technical foul that he was assessed in Maryland’s loss to Wisconsin on Saturday.
Late in the first half, after a tussle for a loose ball, Stone used an open hand to bounce Vitto Brown’s head off of the floor. You can see the play here:

He was not ejected from the game, but he will not be playing for the Terps on Thursday against Minnesota.
Stone, a 6-foot-10 freshman from Wisconsin, is a projected lottery pick that’s averaging 12.8 points and 5.4 boards this season.
