Matt Norlander of CBSSports.com hopped on the pod today to talk about what it’s like to be a sportswriter trying to play dad to a newborn, this story he wrote on Andrew Smith and last night’s Xavier-Providence game.

And at the end of the pod, we spent a bit of time talking about the infamous Final Four media pick-up game, specifically the one year where he challenged me to a three-point shooting contest and lost in embarrassing fashion.

Anyway, you’ll hear it mentioned nice and early that Norlander runs a podcast called Records and Riffs. You can find that right here.

As always, you can listen to the podcast by clicking “play” on the Soundcloud player embedded below. Or you can do so through either iTunes or Stitcher if you so choose. Thanks for listening!
