No. 18 Butler’s rotation will be a man short when they take on Creighton Saturday, as the program announced that redshirt junior point guard Tyler Lewis has been declared out due to a concussion. Lewis suffered the injury in practice Thursday, two days after the Bulldogs’ loss at Providence, and did not make the trip to Omaha.

Lewis, who came off the bench against the Friars, has started 16 of the 18 games he’s played in this season and is averaging 7.0 points and 3.7 assists in 23.6 minutes per contest.

Without Lewis senior Jordan Gathers should see more playing time, with senior Roosevelt Jones having more opportunities to serve in the playmaking role. Against Providence, Butler started a perimeter triumvirate of Gathers, Jones and Kellen Dunham.
