GAME OF THE NIGHT: Ole Miss 85, Memphis 79

Dedric Lawson was as terrific as he has been all season long, finishing with 21 points, 14 boards and five blocks, but it was not enough for the Tigers, who couldn’t quite complete a rally from 18 points down in the first half. Stefan Moody led the way with 21 points for the Rebels while Sebastian Saiz and Martavious Newby combined for 23 points, 23 boards, six steals and six assists. The start of the game was delayed for an hour due to a power outage in the city of Memphis.

IMPORTANT OUTCOMES

Grand Canyon 52, San Diego State 45: The Aztecs were supposed to be one of, if not the best team in the Mountain West this season. After losing to Grand Canyon on Friday night, they are now 7-5 on the season with losses to San Diego and Arkansas-Little Rock.

Incarnate Word, 73, St. John’s 51: The St. John’s team that beat Syracuse in the Garden last weekend lost by 22 in Carnessecca to Incarnate Word on Friday night. Yes, Incarnate Word is a Division I program, but Our Lady of the Lake, who beat IW last week, is not.

South Carolina 65, Clemson 59: Michael Carrera scored 14 points and P.J. Dozier added 13 as the Gamecocks remained undefeated on the season with their win over the Tigers. It’s the first time in 82 years that South Carolina has been 10-0. Frank Martin’s club was up as much as 20 in the first half, but Clemson rallied to get as close as 57-53 with six minutes left.

STARRED

Kyle Collinsworth, BYU: Collinsworth extended his own Division I record by notching his eighth career triple-double -- the second he’s had in ten games this season -- with 12 points, 10 boards and 10 assists in a win over Central Michigan.

Bryant Crawford, Wake Forest: Crawford had 19 points and nine assists as the Demon Deacons held on to beat a scrappy Coastal Carolina team, 83-77.

Justin Tuoyo, Chattanooga: The Mocs were once again playing without their star Casey Jones, and they once again won, this time beating Kennesaw State thanks to 21 points and 12 boards from Tuoyo.

Dillon Brooks, Oregon: Brooks led six players in double-figures with 21 points as the Ducks, who are inching ever-closer to being 100 percent healthy, knocked off Long Beach State in Eugene.

Josh Scott, Colorado: Scott had 20 points and six boards as the Buffaloes rolled over Nicholls State, 85-68.
