GAME OF THE NIGHT: Fresno State at No. 15 Oregon, 8:00 p.m.

It’s a quiet night in college hoops, but this game has sneaky upset appeal. The Bulldogs enter Monday night undefeated on the season, although they haven’t beaten anyone of note yet. Marvelle Harris (20.2 ppg, 6.0 apg, 2.4 spg) is a tough cover for the Ducks, who, suddenly, look like they might actually be the best team in the Pac-12.

FIVE THINGS TO WATCH FOR:

  1. The ACC/Big Ten Challenge kicks off tonight with ... a pair of snoozers. Wake Forest will pay a visit to Rutgers while Clemson squares off with Minnesota.
  2. No. 1 Kentucky will have themselves a fight tonight as they host Illinois State, a scrappy team out of the Missouri Valley that was up seven on Maryland with less than six minutes left in the game.
  3. LSU looks to bounce back from a poor weekend in Brooklyn with a road trip to Charleston.
  4. Can Indiana bounce back from their ugly outings in Maui with a win over Alcorn State? I’m guessing they will.
  5. South Carolina is still undefeated on the season, and they will be hosting the same Western Carolina team that beat Wisconsin this year.
