Stanford continues to bring in talented front court players as the Cardinal landed a commitment from four-star Class of 2016 big man Trevor Stanback on Monday.

Regarded as the No. 88 overall prospect in the national class, Stanback hails from Pasadena and will stay in-state to play Pac-12 ball. A lefty who can drop in some hooks and short jumpers, Stanback will take a few years to develop, but he has some upside. With the Cardinal adding big men like Michael Humphrey, Reid Travis and Josh Sharma in the last two classes, Stanback will hopefully have a bit of a time to develop and go against those quality players in practice.

Stanback is Stanford’s first commitment in the Class of 2016.
