Gonzaga landed their third commitment in the Class of 2016, reaching out to famed Simeon HS in Chicago to pluck top 100 shooting guard Zach Norvell out of the grasp of some of the midwest’s best programs.

“After long months of recruitment I would like to proudly say I have committed to Gonzaga University,” Norvell tweeted on Monday afternoon.

Norvell is a 6-foot-4, left-handed off-guard known for his ability to shoot the ball. In one game in Las Vegas this summer, he went for 53 points and hit 11 threes. Ranked No. 93 in the class by Rivals, Norvell joins a class that also includes four-star big men Zach Collins and Killian Tillie.

In addition to that trio of recruits, Gonzaha will also get Missouri transfer Johnathan Williams III and Washington transfer Nigel Williams-Goss eligible. When you factor in that duo, Few’s crop of newcomers for the 2016-17 season will rival anyone in the country.
