San Diego State unveiled its non-conference schedule for the 2015-16 season late this week and it features some big-time games for the Aztecs to go along with some challenging mid-major games.

A trip to Utah, a home game against Kansas and games against Cal and West Virginia or Richmond in Las Vegas highlight the schedule this season. Steve Fisher’s ballclub also has some tough mid-major games like hosting Illinois State and traveling to Long Beach State. And, of course, there’s the unique aspect of playing San Diego at Petco Park to add to a very challenging schedule.

With the Mountain West looking to be a multi-bid league once again, the Aztecs certainly scheduled themselves plenty of good games to prep themselves for the NCAA tournament. Games against Cal, Kansas and Utah are very tough and there are plenty of other potential postseason teams for San Diego State to face before jumping into conference play.
