Texas A&M added a very late piece to its 2015 recruiting class by landing a commitment from combo guard Raquan Mitchell. A three-star guard, according to Rivals, the 6-foot-4 Mitchell had planned to go to prep school for the upcoming season before a big July live evaluation period made him an immediate target for the Aggies and Memphis.

By landing Mitchell, who had a breakout July with the Showtime Ballers, Texas A&M gets an immediate replacement for transfer guard Peyton Allen, who left the program and committed to Wichita State.

The Aggies are already bringing in a top-flight 2015 class, with four four-star commitments in the fold. Mitchell just gives them a potential late bloomer to go along with center Tyler Davis, power forward Elijah Thomas, small forward D.J. Hogg and point guard Admon Gilder.
