Report: Wake Forest lands transfer guard

woods

(Charlotte Athletics)

Wake Forest added a promising shooting guard on Tuesday as Charlotte guard Keyshawn Woods committed to the Demon Deacons, according to Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com.

During his freshman season with the 49ers, Woods averaged 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. The 6-foot-3 freshman will have to sit out the 2015-16 season due to NCAA transfer regulations, but he’ll have three seasons left of eligibility.

Seeing as though he shot 48 percent from the field and 46 percent from 3-point range, Woods was efficient scoring the ball during his first season and he’s a nice floor spacing scorer for Wake Forest.
