Olivier Hanlan is expected to declare for the NBA Draft, according to a report from Draft Express.
Hanlan averaged 19.5 points, 4.2 boards and 4.2 assists for the Eagles as a junior this past season, but Boston College once again struggled throughout ACC play. The Eagles didn’t win their second ACC game until Feb. 28th and finished the year just 4-14 in league play overall.

Hanlan is a projected second round pick, but it’s not likely that he’ll ever do much to improve that projection. He is what he is in regards to the way the NBA views him, and if his options are to use basketball to start making a living at the professional level or to return to school for another losing season with a coach that didn’t recruit him, can you really blame him for wanting a change?
