Penn State received some more late-game heroics from senior D.J. Newbill on Sunday as the guard nailed the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Nittany Lions a 79-76 win on the road against Minnesota.

This isn’t the first time Newbill has won on a game-winner this season. The senior also beat Cornell on a buzzer-beater earlier in the year. Newbill finished with 31 points, five rebounds and four assists and helped Penn State to a regular-season sweep of the Golden Gophers.
