Wake Forest transfer Miles Overton has found a new home, as the sophmore guard will be heading to Drexel. The news of Overton’s transfer was first reported by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

The 6-foot-4 Overton is the son of former NBA veteran Doug Overton. During his sophomore season with the Demon Deacons, the younger Overton averaged 5.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per game.

In the CAA, Overton should be able to make more of an impact than he did playing in the ACC. He was only playing 12.7 minutes a game at Wake Forest and shooting 32 percent from the field.

Due to NCAA transfer regulations, Overton will sit out the rest of the 2014-15 season and likely be eligible after the first semester.
