Earlier this week the 42nd Annual Culligan City of Palms Classic was played at Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers, Florida, and once again the event featured some of the best high school players in America. Standouts such as Ben Simmons (2015 LSU commit), Derrick Jones (2015 UNLV commit), Jaylen Brown (undecided 2015 prospect), and Harry Giles (undecided 2016 prospect) played in front of sellout crowds throughout the week.

Brown’s Marietta (Georgia) Wheeler HS team won the event, defeating Montverde Academy (led by Simmons) in the title game. Wheeler became the first team from Georgia to win the tournament, and they also ended Montverde’s bid to win the City of Palms Classic for a third consecutive year.

Above are highlights from the week in Fort Myers, with Home Team Hoops putting together the video.
