Within an hour the Kentucky basketball program added two highly regarded pieces to their Class of 2015 haul. Following on the heels of Skal Labissiere’s decision to join John Calipari’s program, five-star point guard Isaiah Briscoe announced his decision to do the same on national television.

Briscoe picked Kentucky over St. John’s and UConn, and in addition to Labissiere he joins shooting guard Charles Matthews in Kentucky’s 2015 class to date.

Similar to their situation in the front court, Kentucky doesn’t have a single scholarship senior in the backcourt this season. However with the Harrison twins, Aaron and Andrew, entertaining thoughts of leaving before deciding to return for their sophomore season adding pieces to the perimeter was something Kentucky needed to do.

And with Antonio Blakeney still out there, Kentucky may not be done in that regard.
