Long Beach State will be adding a talented transfer as a source confirmed to NBCSports.com that Marquette transfer Gabe Levin -- formerly of Loyola Marymount -- will join the program.

The 6-foot-7, 230-pound Levin had a strong freshman season at Loyola Marymount, averaging 11.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.2 blockers per game.

At Marquette, Levin would have contributed and gotten minutes, but in the Big West at Long Beach State, Levin could be an all-league type of player. He’s won’t be undersized like he would in the Big East and if Levin can develop his perimeter skill set, he could be a big-time get for head coach Dan Monson.
