Louisiana native and four-star wing Jacob Evans cut his list late this week. The 6-foot-5 Evans updated his list from five to two schools and is now considering Cincinnati and South Carolina, according to a report from Ben Love of Tiger Sports Digest.

Evans was also considering Auburn, LSU and Tulane.

While Auburn took a lot of recent commitments and Tulane isn’t a tournament-level team at the moment, LSU getting booted off the list doesn’t look great. The Tigers need to add talent around Ben Simmons, the No. 1 prospect in the 2015 class, and Evans was a talented in-state kid.

But LSU is still in on a number of other talented wings and should have time to recruit someone else.

South Carolina and Cincinnati will battle it out for the No. 98 overall prospect in Rivals’ 2015 national rankings.
