There’s something great about Late Night in the Phog. And that something is Kansas head coach Bill Self.

In 2013, the future Hall of Fame coach parodied the opening scene of ‘Anchorman’ as Ron Burgundy. He also reenacted the initiation scene from the 2003 comedy ‘Old School’ with legendary announcer Max Falkenstein playing the role as Joseph “Blue” Pulaski. On Friday night, in what is sure to be one of many great clips at Late Night in the Phog, Self parodied Dos Equis “The Most Interesting Man in the World” ad campaign. The video is less than 90 seconds, but at the end he saves a little dig for the rest of his Big 12 opponents.

“We don’t always win championships,” Self says, “But when we do, we prefer 10 straight. Rock, chalk, my friends.”

Obviously, this is in reference to KU’s decade of dominance, winning at least a share of the Big 12 Conference title for the last 10 years. In 2014-2015, the Jayhawks were voted the favorites once again.
