A month after announcing his final five schools, five-star power forward Carlton Bragg is now down to just four.

On Thursday morning, Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com and SNY.tv reported that Arizona had ended its recruitment of the 6-foot-9 prospect. On Sept. 1, Bragg, who plays at Villa Angela St Joseph High (Ohio), tweeted that Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky and UCLA were his finalists.

“They informed us that they love Carlton but they’re going to pursue other people,” Michael Graves, Bragg’s mentor, told Zagoria on Thursday.

The Cleveland native will be on the move the next couple of weeks, attending Late Night at the Phog on Oct. 10 for his official visit to Kansas. That is followed by an Oct. 17 trip to Lexington, Kentucky for Big Blue Madness and most recently, he’s scheduled a trip to UCLA for Oct. 31. No official visit has been set for Illinois, though, he did host head coach John Groce for an in-home visit on Tuesday night.

Bragg is coming off a busy summer with stops at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Virginia and the adidas Unrivaled Camp in Chicago during the July live period. That doesn’t include his stint on the adidas Gauntlet grassroots circuit with Ohio Basketball Club. In 16 appearances, he averaged 15.8 points, 8.9 boards and 1.6 blocks per game, shooting 49 percent from the field and 38 percent (16-for-42) from beyond the arc.

He is rated as the No. 14 overall player in the Class of 2015 by Rivals.
