MORE: Carlton Bragg goes for 36 points and 14 rebounds
Montverde Academy (Florida) 2015 combo forward Ben Simmons had an impressive first day at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, and never looked back as the 6-foot-8 Australian took home camp MVP honors on Saturday.
Simmons, who is committed to play for LSU, dropped 18 in both games on Wednesday, and continued to display a skill set that could eventually put him atop the recruiting boards at the end of the summer. Currently, Rivals has him listed as the No. 5 overall player.

In April, Simmons helped Montverde Academy capture the Dick’s Sporting Goods High School National Tournament title, earning MVP honors with 24 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.
This summer, Simmons has appeared in seven games for E1T1 in the Nike EYBL, averaging 19.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in those appearances. E1T1 returns to the Peach Jam this July, looking to defend its title from last season.
