After starting all 32 games for Colorado State last season, posting averages of 13.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, rising senior guard Jon Octeus made the decision to transfer for his final season. Having graduated from Colorado State, Octeus will be eligible immediately at his next school.

And according to Matt L. Stephens of The Coloradoan the 6-foot-4 guard has narrowed his list of choices down to three: Cincinnati, Missouri and UCLA.

Per the report Octeus will visit Missouri first, doing so today and tomorrow, with the official visit to Cincinnati being taken over the weekend and UCLA getting the final visit on either June 26 or June 27. Missouri has already added one graduate transfer in point guard Keith Shamburger, who is expected to have no issues completing his coursework at Hawaii prior to joining Kim Anderson’s program.

In addition to Shamburger the Tigers will have returnee Wes Clark on the perimeter, with transfers Cam Biedscheid (Notre Dame) and Deuce Bello (Baylor) also in the fold. Biedscheid will likely have to wait until the end of the fall semester before becoming eligible to play in games.

As for Cincinnati, the Bearcats lost their most productive perimeter player in Sean Kilpatrick but return experienced contributors Troy Caupain and Ge’Lawn Guyn. Cincinnati adds a junior college transfer as well in point guard Farad Cobb. UCLA lost a lot from its perimeter rotation as well, with Jordan Adams, Kyle Anderson and Zach LaVine all entering the 2014 NBA Draft.

Bryce Alford, Norman Powell and Isaac Hamilton, who didn’t play last season, will be asked to lead the way for a team that reached the Sweet 16 last season.
